Topic: BLACKBERRY TIPS

It's torture whenever we're caught off guard and a function gets flatly rejected by our Blackberry. It's easy to get a bit fed up when you can't go forward with an image, video, or music file transfer due to a stubborn Media Manager snafu. Argh! It's no secret troubleshooting a Blackberry smartphone can burn a lot of our time. Here's an excellent work around for systems where you do not have administrator access to (so many of the cool options on your system has been disabled) or you're simply having problems using Media Manager for image, video and music file transfers.
- Step 1: Connect your Blackberry smartphone to your computer via USB.
- Step 2: When you receive a display message prompting you whether you wish to use your Blackberry as a mass storage device it is in your best interest to reply yes.
- Step 3: Enter password.
- Step 4: From the Explorer window copy the files you want over to applicable folders such as Video, Pictures, Music, etc.
Note: If possible, it is always great to use the latest version of Desktop Manager's Media Manager to accomplish this. If you are having difficulties with your Desktop Manager you may want to try uninstalling previous versions and installing the latest Desktop Manager software. Nine out of ten reasons why you may encounter setbacks using Destop Manager is usually directly as a result of not having administrator rights to your machine and your company's policy may have disabled a fair number of features.
